Ashleigh: Describe your style.
Candy Renee: I would say very trendy. I love punk rock inspired clothing, I absolutely love leather, lace and black.
Ashleigh: Who is your style icon?
Candy Renee: I would have to say Daphne Guinness. I also love Solange Knowles and Cassie.
Ashleigh: Do you think style is important? Why?
Candy Renee: Its simple. You can’t buy style. Style is something you have to grown into and when you do you have to own it. For e.g., confidence and the attitude you have when you wear your clothes are a part of your style. A lady who always wears trendy clothes with no “spin” or “remix” to her outfit is simply a lady who follows trends..without the trends she probably wouldn’t know what to do with herself.
Ashleigh: What makes you feel glamorous?
Candy Renee: A great pair of sunglasses!
Ashleigh: What advice would you give to others that are trying to define their style?
Candy Renee: Have a moment with yourself, think about the type of clothes that make you comfortable, read lots of magazines and learn how to wear those pieces and put your spin on it,take a bunch of clothes and just try and try and try and mix everything.I guarantee you will come up with something.
Ashleigh: Who is your favorite designer?
Candy Renee: Alexander McQueen and Marc Jacobs.
Ashleigh: Where are your favourite places to shop?
Candy Renee: Topshop, Bloomingdales, H&M, SAKS and vintage stores.
Ashleigh: Name one fashion trend you hate.
Candy Renee: Harem pants.
Ashleigh: When you meet the opposite sex, what is the first thing you notice about them?
Candy Renee: Their watch. If they aren’t wearing one it’s a complete turn off.
Ashleigh: What look/style do you like best for guys?
Candy Renee: I love biker jackets and scarfs and a good pair of sunglasses!
