Ashleigh: Describe your style.
Nioby C.: Simple. I don’t really know what to describe my style as other than simple. I dress for my body type and stick to what works best for me.
Ashleigh: Who is your style icon?
Nioby C.: For the moment, Kate Middleton & Olivia Palermo. But Jackie Kennedy will always be my favourite.
Ashleigh: Do you think style is important? Why?
Nioby C.: I think caring about your outward appearance is important. It shouldn’t be the only thing about you, but good presentation is always appreciated. People love nice things to look at.
Ashleigh: What makes you feel glamorous?
Nioby C.: My hair! Haha! It’s my main and my biggest accessory.
Ashleigh: What advice would you give to others that are trying to define their style?
Nioby C.: Stick to what looks best on you.
Ashleigh: Who is your favorite designer?
Nioby C.: Alexander McQueen.
Ashleigh: Where are your favourite places to shop?
Nioby C.: I love fashion, but I am such a bargain shopper. I do believe quality overrules quantity. When I am shopping for must-have things like a good pair of slacks, pencil skirts, blazers, jeans, etc, things that I will use 100 times over the next 5 years, I tend to spend a little more. For these items I always go to BCBG, Zara, and French Connection. They are European designers, so their clothes tend to fit me like a glove. When I am shopping for trends, I hit up H&M and Forever 21.
Ashleigh: Name one fashion trend you hate.
Nioby C.: Overalls. Yuck. Haha.
Ashleigh: When you meet the opposite sex, what is the first thing you notice about them?
Nioby C.: I don’t really notice guys (lol), but if a guy stands out to me, it is definitely because of his style!
Ashleigh: What look/style do you like best for guys?
Nioby C.: For guys, I definitely love the Leonardo DiCaprio slick back hair look with wayfarer shades, coloured pants and a nice polo.
