One of the most important things you can do for yourself is to feel fabulous each and every day. As I get older, I’ve learned that feeling fabulous does not necessarily mean staying up-to-date with the latest fashion trends, or mastering the latest makeup tricks. It is so much more than that. It is about your mind, your heart, and what makes you feel good on the inside. We deserve to feel great as much as we possibly can, and today I’m sharing my five top tips for feeling fabulous.
I recently started going to the gym about a month now, and I feel great! Exercise can really transform you not just physically, but it also has the potential to improve your mental health. If you can’t make it to the gym everyday, or the gym life just isn’t for you, there are so many at home workouts that are just as effective. Run up those stairs, do those squats, or simply walk for a few minutes. Overall you’ll feel so much better, plus, exercise reduces your risk for many diseases.
Do Something You Love
There are so many things happening in our everyday lives that we often forget about ourselves. Always take some time, even if it’s just 10 minutes, and do something YOU love. Have a glass of wine, read a book or magazine, watch an episode of your favourite series – whatever it is, do it! “Me time” is so important, and you’ll feel re-energized when you do something for you.
Do Something Nice For Someone
There’s no better feeling than helping others, especially those who are less fortunate. Have clothes you no longer wear? Donate them. Volunteer at a nursing or children’s home. Generosity is as fabulous as fabulous gets!
When you look good, you feel good. Always take the time out to pick out stylish and comfortable clothing that fit right and makes you feel amazing. Add those favourite details that give you that extra boost to get through the day. Don’t be pressured into thinking that you must wear a particular trend if it’s not your style or if it makes you uncomfortable.
